RichardsAndDeltaBlueBenchmarks

Some more benchmarks that will run on Jamaica, at least they will under the java simulator with 1 processor.

What are Richards and DeltaBlue?

taken from http://research.sun.com/people/mario/java_benchmarking/

Richards is an interesting medium-sized language benchmark (400-500 lines). It simulates the task dispatcher in the kernel of an operating system. The original version was written in BCPL by Martin Richards at Cambridge University, England.

DeltaBlue is about 1000 lines of Java code. DeltaBlue was originally implemented by John Maloney while at the University of Washington, and has also been translated into many languages. The algorithm is described in "The DeltaBlue Algorithm: An Incremental Constraint Hierarchy Solver" by Bjorn N. Freeman-Benson and John Maloney, Communications of the ACM, January 1990.
